All 2025 Chevrolet and GMC gas or diesel, cars, vans, crossovers and light-duty pickup trucks come with our Powertrain Limited Warranty, which is up to 5 years/160,000 km ^† (whichever comes first) for customers^† with a qualifying GM Envolve account(s)^†, up to 5 years/100,000 km^† (whichever comes first) for retail buyers and up to 5 years/160,000 km^† (whichever comes first) for HD diesel pickups. It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. The Roadside Assistance^† and Courtesy Transportation Programs^† are also fully backed for up to 5 years/160,000 km^† (whichever comes first) for qualified GM Envolve users^† on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles and HD diesel pickups, up to 5 years/100,000 km^† (whichever comes first) for retail buyers, or up to 8 years/160,000 km^† (whichever comes first) for propulsion battery warranty ^† For more details, please visit your dealer.

It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. The Roadside Assistance^† and Courtesy Transportation Program^† are also fully backed for up to 5 years/100,000 KM^† (whichever comes first) for Buick vehicles. All 2025 Cadillac vehicles come with our Powertrain Limited Warranty, which is up to 6 years/110,000 km^† (whichever comes first). It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. The Base Warranty Coverage on new Chevrolet, GMC and Buick cars and light-duty trucks remains in effect for up to 3 years or 60,000 km^† (whichever comes first); Cadillac base warranty coverage is in effect for up to 4 years or 80,000 km^† (whichever comes first).

Courtesy Transportation^† is also included on new Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac cars and light-duty trucks. Whenever Powertrain Warranty repairs are required, several transportation options and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses are available for your convenience at participating dealers and retailers. 

The Base Warranty covers new Chevrolet, GMC and Buick cars and light-duty trucks for up to 3 years or 60,000 km^† (whichever comes first); Cadillac base warranty coverage is in effect for up to 4 years or 80,000 km^† (whichever comes first). It covers the vehicle from bumper to bumper on most vehicle defects related to warrantable defects in materials or workmanship. While most customers prefer to have their maintenance performed at the dealership where they purchased their vehicle, you may use any General Motors dealership you prefer, subject to some limitations. Chevrolet, Buick and GMC owners may take their vehicle to any General Motors dealership (excluding Cadillac) of their choice. It’s advisable, however, to take your vehicle to a dealership that matches its brand, as they will be the most familiar with your vehicle’s specific needs. Chevrolet EV and GMC EV owners can only get their vehicles properly serviced at qualified Chevrolet EV and GMC EV dealerships. For included maintenance, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC customers can go to any Chevrolet, Buick or GMC dealership. Included maintenance for Cadillac customers must be completed at a Cadillac dealership.
