All 2024 Chevrolet and GMC cars, vans, crossovers and light-duty pickup trucks come with our Powertrain Limited Warranty, which is 5 years/160,000 km^† for customers with a qualifying GM Envolve account(s)^†, 5 years/100,000 km^† for retail buyers and 5 years/160,000 km^† for HD diesel pickups. It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. The Roadside Assistance^† and Courtesy Transportation Programs^† are also fully backed for 5 years/160,000 km^† for qualified GM Envolve users on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles and HD diesel pickups, 5 years/100,000 km^† for retail buyers, or 8 years/160,000 km^† for Chevrolet battery.^† For more details, please visit your dealer.

All 2024 Buick vehicles come with our Powertrain Component Limited Warranty, which is 5 years/100,000 KM.^† It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. All 2024 Cadillac vehicles come with our Powertrain Limited Warranty, which is 6 years/110,000 km.^† It is fully transferable and there are no fees and no deductibles. The Roadside Assistance^† and Courtesy Transportation Programs^† are also fully backed for 6 years/110,000 km^†. For more details, please visit your dealer. 

The Base Warranty Coverage on new Chevrolet, GMC and Buick cars and light-duty trucks remains in effect for 3 years or 60,000 km^†; Cadillac base warranty coverage is in effect for 4 years or 80,000 km^†.

You may be eligible to choose from one of our Divisional Protection Plan (DEPP) offerings that can be tailored to meet your needs — including extended powertrain coverage. Please contact your selling dealer/retailer for details on the various Divisional Protection Plan programs.

Courtesy Transportation^† is also included on new Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac cars and light-duty trucks. Whenever Powertrain Warranty repairs are required, several transportation options and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses are available for your convenience at participating dealers and retailers. 

The Base Warranty covers new Chevrolet, GMC and Buick cars and light-duty trucks for 3 years or 60,000 km^†; Cadillac base warranty coverage is in effect for 4 years or 80,000 km^†. It covers the vehicle from bumper to bumper on most vehicle defects related to warrantable defects in materials or workmanship. For further details, look in the Owner’s Manual under "What Is Covered" and "What Is Not Covered." 

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac cars and light-duty trucks are designed and built to resist corrosion.^†  
Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is neither necessary nor required under the sheet metal coverage. Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac make no recommendations concerning the usefulness or value of such products. Application of after-manufacture rustproofing products may create an environment that reduces the corrosion resistance built into your vehicle. Repairs to correct damage caused by such applications are not covered under your New Vehicle Limited Warranty. See your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac dealer for terms of this limited warranty.

While most customers prefer to have their maintenance performed at the dealership where they purchased their vehicle, you may use any General Motors dealership you prefer. Chevrolet, Buick and GMC owners may take their vehicle to any General Motors dealership (excluding Cadillac) of their choice. It’s advisable, however, to take your vehicle to a dealership that matches its brand, as they will be the most familiar with your vehicle’s specific needs. For included maintenance, Chevy, Buick and GMC customers can go to any dealership, Cadillac customers must return to Cadillac dealership.
